Asia e-University (AeU) has recently decided to sponsor about 20 schools for The Star’s NIE programme.  Under the sponsorship, which started in June, 10,000 copies of The Star’s NiE pullout were distributed to 20 secondary schools.

PUTRAJAYA – Penang proved they had the mightiest minds in Malaysia by championing RHB-The Star Mighty Minds national finals.  The team won when their representatives from SMK Bukit Jambul and Chung Ling High School beat 13 other state champions in an interesting contest yesterday.  With the win, the team will bring home the grand prize of RM6,000 cash per team and a desktop computer and printer for each school.
